Matt Dalianis, MA, CMHC

Therapist

Matt is a clinical mental health counselor working with young people and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. He believes that people are far more than their hardest moments — and that the stories we carry about ourselves can be examined, challenged, and rewritten.

Matt’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the idea that you are the expert on your own life. Drawing from narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT, and person-centered care, he works alongside clients to understand what’s gotten in the way — and to build something more workable going forward.

Before entering the counseling field, Matt earned a JD and taught law, an experience that deepened his respect for complexity and his commitment to meeting people without judgment. He holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rivier University and is pursuing licensure as an LCMHC and MLADC in New Hampshire, with a particular focus on co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

If you’ve been told — or have told yourself — that change isn’t possible, Matt would respectfully disagree.
