Ally Bao, M.Phil.Ed

Therapist

Ally believes that people are shaped by relationships, culture, and the stories we carry about ourselves over time, which can both guide us and sometimes limit us. In therapy, she views the work as a collaborative process of understanding these experiences, supporting greater clarity, flexibility, and a more grounded sense of self in how you move through life.

Her approach is integrative and grounded in person-centered and relational perspectives, drawing on ACT, CBT, and DBT to tailor therapy to each person’s needs.

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and support concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges, among others. The aim is to create a space that is safe and honest, where you can explore what matters to you without judgment, develop new insights, and build momentum for change beyond the therapy room.
