Hi, I’m Taylor Semple, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) who works with children (ages 5+), adolescents, and young adults. Originally from Fayetteville, NC, I’ve spent the past nine years living and working in the Triangle area.I offer both in-person and virtual therapy for individuals and families across North Carolina who are navigating emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University and my Master’s in Social Work from North Carolina Central University. My background includes experience in school settings, community-based services, hospital environments, and intensive in-home work. Across these settings, I’ve supported youth and families working through concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and difficulties related to relationships and life transitions.
I approach therapy with the belief that each person deserves a space where they feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to help clients build insight into their experiences while developing practical tools to manage emotions, strengthen coping skills, and navigate challenges with greater confidence. I also value partnering with families, recognizing the important role they play in a child’s growth and overall well-being.
My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based practices, all through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens. I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment that honors each client’s individuality and supports growth at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable.
Outside of my work, I enjoy creative outlets like arts and crafts, trying new recipes in the kitchen, spending time with my dog and loved ones, and staying connected to my community.
