Raygan Ashmore, LMHCA

Outpatient Therapist

I was born and raised in California and spent three years in New York attending Alfred University before relocating to Indiana in 2023. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Alfred University and went on to complete my master’s degree in mental health counseling at the University of Indianapolis.

Since 2023, I have worked on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and through my internship experience, I discovered a strong passion for working with children in a therapeutic setting. Throughout my career in the mental health fi eld, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals ranging in age from 5 to 80 years old.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and tailoring the experience to their unique needs and goals. When working with children, I incorporate play therapy techniques to help build connection and create a comfortable, engaging environment.

My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, social skills, and self-esteem building. While I have developed a particular passion for working with children, I remain open to supporting clients across a variety of age groups.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, and exploring antique stores. I also value spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends.
