Ronnette is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Heather Nickerson, LPC, NCC, CET, CCTP. She earned her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

As a military spouse, Ronnette has witnessed firsthand the challenges that service members and their families face. This experience has shaped her passion for supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and the unique stressors connected to military life. She has collaborated with clients across the lifespan, helping them resolve conflict, strengthen communication skills, and move toward healthier patterns of living.

Ronnette’s counseling philosophy centers on walking alongside those who feel stuck or overwhelmed, offering compassion, clarity, and a safe space to grow. She values diversity, ethical practice, mutual trust, and equality in every therapeutic relationship. She believes that extending grace and building strong rapport are essential parts of the healing process.

To support her clients’ goals, Ronnette integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy (PT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Eye Movement Integration (EMI), and Person-Centered Therapy.
