Chiara Nottie is a mental health clinician with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Assumption University. She follows evidenced based therapy modalities mainly, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). However, other therapy modalities Chiara utilizes include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Chiara has experience working in multiple settings which include outpatient, residential, vocational, special care units, and academia. She works with pre-teens to adult aged clients. She has a growing skill set working with neurodivergent individuals and individuals struggling with women’s health issues. She currently provides out-patient services in-office or via telehealth.
Chiara likes to make therapy accessible and enjoyable for clients. To achieve this, she will incorporate clients’ interests such as crafts, art, meditation, games, writing, etc. into treatment. She enjoys a holistic work approach that depends on collaboration with multiple parties to improve clients’ quality of life, including schools, psychiatrists, physicians, and especially the clients themselves.
