Maria is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from Simmons University. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their mental health journeys, offering not just care and expertise, but also a touch of humor to help ease the process.

In her work, Maria creates a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe, seen, and heard. She believes in the power of trust and connection, making every session a place where you can speak openly about your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Her goal is to help you find strength, clarity, and meaningful growth as you navigate your unique path.

Maria specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder, and social anxiety. She also provides support to individuals facing life transitions, grief, cultural adjustment challenges, particularly immigrants and refugees. Also, she provides support to individuals struggles with BFRBs (Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors), and chronic health concerns such as autoimmune conditions. With a thoughtful, culturally informed perspective, she helps clients explore the intersections of identity, background, and emotional well-being. Maria is fluent in Armenian, Arabic and Turkish.

Maria draws from a blend of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Her toolbox includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Narrative therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic therapy.
