After a career in teaching, Lisa felt called to helping professions; she earned her MSW in 2008 and clinical license 10 years ago. Lisa has worked in a variety of settings (pediatric inpatient, hospice, in-home care, community mental health, and private practice) with clients across the life span. Lisa’s practice reflects the client is the expert in his/her life, and offering unconditional positive regard is the best way to build rapport. Lisa uses multiple therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness. She has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, bipolar, and managing crises.
