Courtney is a licensed social worker. Courtney received her BA in psychology from Rider University and her Master of Social Work from Monmouth University. Courtney has 9 years of experience in the mental health and social work field including partial care programs for adults, adolescents and children, programs for those involved in the criminal justice system, and families involved with protective services.

Courtney’s expertise extends to areas such as trauma, crisis intervention, relationship issues, life transitions, managing mental health symptoms, and emotional and behavioral challenges in adolescents and young children. Courtney values client-centered and trauma-informed approaches. Courtney utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and art therapy techniques for all ages, including play therapy for small children.

Further, Courtney is trained in Illness Management and Recovery, a practice that helps those struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health diagnoses manage their symptoms.
