Shelby Kennel attended Indiana State University for undergraduate and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in counseling. Shelby continued her higher education at the same university to complete the master’s of science program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shelby is specialized in treatment of trauma, behavioral issues (such as ADHD, ODD, DMDD, etc.), anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and many more. Shelby has previously worked with children in an elementary school ranging in ages from 4 to 13 years old, as well as a varying age range of adults in her clinical internship and practicum.
She strives to build a trusting and honest relationship with her clients to help them through their time of need. She believe that there is good in everyone and all people should have a chance to change their lives for the better, no matter the circumstance.
