Katie is a Licensed Psychological Associate and a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a MA in Clinical Psychology. Drawing from multiple modalities, Katie is passionate about individualizing treatment to meet each person’s needs and believes an open, authentic therapeutic relationship is key to healing. Katie has previously worked in several levels of care including residential and within the court system. She is a trauma-informed clinician who strives to help adolescents and adults find a path forward. She has extensive experience working with those with eating disorders, personality disorders, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harm, addiction, and mood disorders. Additionally, Katie enjoys working with those struggling with life transitions, women’s issues, or in the LGBTQ+ population. As an LPA, Katie also received training in the administration and interpretation of psychological testing instruments and has completed a variety of evaluations including psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluations. She is a Spanish-speaking clinician and is under the supervision of Dr. Leonard Bohanon, LP.
