About Patrick Curley

Patrick Curley, LCSW, is the Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health’s Woodbridge and Manassas locations, and a therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He works with clients of all ages and specializes in helping children, adolescents, and families navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, family conflict, stress, self-esteem, trauma, emotional challenges, and other life difficulties.

Patrick provides therapy for clients in Manassas, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities. His extensive experience working with children, teens, and families helps him understand the challenges that can arise at home, at school, and during the many transitions that come with growing up.

Patrick believes in talking about the Elephant in the Room! It’s okay to need help. It’s okay when life isn’t working out the way you expected. And it’s okay to not be okay. Rather than avoiding the difficult stuff, Patrick believes in figuring it out together and helping clients find practical ways to move forward.

His approach emphasizes connection, resilience, conflict resolution, and helping clients recognize their own strengths. Patrick works to create an environment where children, teens, adults, and families can speak openly about what’s happening in their lives without fear of judgment.

And Patrick brings some of his own personality into the therapy room. He loves turtles—a reminder to take things one step at a time—and Star Wars, where hope, balance, and focus can help us overcome even the biggest obstacles.
