About Margaret Wright
Marli Wright, LPC, is Assistant Clinic Director with Ellie Mental Health Woodbridge and a mental health therapist who specializes in working with adults and teens. She has experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, substance use concerns, and other emotional and mental health challenges.
Marli is a hybrid therapist who provides in-person therapy for clients in Woodbridge, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities and virtual therapy for clients across Virginia.
Marli brings several years of clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults and understands the unique challenges that can come with these stages of life. She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable talking openly about their experiences and working toward their goals.
Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Marli works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop practical coping skills, recognize their strengths, and make positive changes in their lives.
Marli believes that everyone can benefit from therapy and that having a place to feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported can be an important part of creating meaningful change.
Marli earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from George Mason University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
