About Katie Darby
I’m a mental health therapist who believes therapy should feel safe, supportive, and maybe even a little comforting. I earned my bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, where I’m also completing a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. For the past 5 years, I’ve worked with children with autism and their families in homes, schools, and clinics. I’ve also trained in supporting adolescents and adults with executive functioning and substance use challenges. When I’m not studying or in session, I’m likely at home with my two cats—expert snugglers and unofficial therapy assistants.
