About Kaley Payne
Kaley is a mental health therapist with Ellie Mental Health Woodbridge who primarily works with teens and young adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and other emotional and mental health concerns.
Kaley is a hybrid therapist who provides in-person therapy for clients in Woodbridge, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities and virtual therapy for clients across Virginia.
Kaley understands that everyone’s journey is unique and believes therapy should meet clients where they are. She strives to create a safe, open, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable talking freely, exploring challenges, and working toward the changes that are meaningful to them.
Her approach is flexible and client-centered, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Kaley works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping skills, recognize their strengths, and navigate the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.
Kaley earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University.
Outside of the office, Kaley enjoys exercising, traveling, and watching reality television.
