Justin holds an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University and is a dedicated clinician with expertise as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Addiction Counselor.
His approach to therapy looks at the bigger picture (“the system”) and considers the many things that can shape a person’s experience and well-being, including but not limited to relationships, physical health, personal history, and everyday life. Justin believes that the more clearly, you understand what you’re dealing with, the easier it can be to see what may need to change and how to start changing it.
Justin has a more direct style and offers feedback that is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. He helps clients take a closer look at patterns that may be getting in the way or causing struggle. He knows that life can be hard, chaotic, and sometimes just a lot, but he has also seen that people don’t have to stay stuck. Things can be different, and therapy can help some people figure out what “unstuck” might look like and how to get there.
Justin enjoys working with a wide range of people, including individuals, couples, and families, with a particular interest in working with the LGBTQIA2+ community, neurodivergent clients (Autism, ADHD, OCD), and the BIPOC community. He is especially passionate about destigmatizing suicidality and addiction.
Justin has lived many lives, seen many different things, in many different places, but has come to appreciate a slower pace, stability, and tranquility. Oh, and he has a spouse and a kid.
