About Hebah Nijem

I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges while growing towards greater confidence, resilience, and connection.

I believe that healing happens through authentic relationships and meeting clients where they are. My approach is grounded in person-centered care and integrates Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), mindfulness, somatic techniques, and trauma-informed practices. As a Certified Integrative Somatic Practitioner, I help clients develop greater awareness of the mind-body connection and build skills for emotional regulation and self-understanding.

In addition to my work with children and adolescents, I enjoy supporting young adults and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, and personal growth. I also hold certification in Spiritual Competency and welcome conversations about spirituality when they are meaningful to the client.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, practicing yoga, exploring creative crafts, and nurturing my own sense of play and curiosity.
