I consider therapy to be a collaborative process and believe that each client is the expert on themselves. I spend time developing a strong, trusting relationship with clients to understand their specific challenges. I provide a comfortable space for clients to share openly without feeling judged, pressured, or intimidated. I utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to support the individual needs and goals of each client and help to increase their motivation and feelings of accomplishment. My approach is conversational, and I often incorporate humor and transparency as tools to relate to and strengthen my connection to my clients and normalize their struggles. My goal is to help each client recognize their self-worth, increase their confidence, and provide them with the necessary tools to act as their own therapist.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and earned my master’s degree from Columbia University Teachers College in 2016. I have a decade of experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of roles and settings. I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping to navigate challenges including anxiety, depressive disorders, life transitions, family and relationships.
