I am focused on providing a safe, supportive therapeutic space where individuals feel heard, supported, and understood. Recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique treatment is tailored to the individual. Together we build on strengths to cultivate meaningful change, deepen self-awareness, and develop tools to move forward with confidence.
I take an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to meet the individual needs of each client. My work is informed by evidence-based behavioral therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), while also drawing on mindfulness and holistic principles that support the connection between mind and body.
As an art therapist, I offer sessions that can be fully verbal, combine verbal psychotherapy with creative expression, or incorporate primarily nonverbal techniques depending on each client’s preferences, comfort level, and therapeutic goals. The creative process serves as a tool for self-exploration, emotional expression, and personal growth. No previous art making experience is required
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have also worked with clients facing a diverse range of other emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns, I specialize with working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and challenges related to life transitions and adjustment.
