Erica is an Ellie provisionally licensed mental health counselor. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Public Health from the University at Buffalo. Erica has experience and enjoys working with individuals from various diverse backgrounds and age ranges. Her specialties include anxiety/panic concerns, identity and self-esteem issues, depression, life transitions, relationship conflict, family conflict, anger management, autism, and ADHD. Erica prioritizes being a compassionate counselor who utilizes empathy and a person-centered approach to connect with her clients. She believes life’s hardships should never be taken on alone. As a mental health provider, she values knowing her clients on a deeper level and providing them with a nonjudgmental space to explore themselves while also working towards who they strive to be. Erica takes an integrated approach utilizing modalities including CBT, mindfulness, strength-based, and EFT. She believes progress and reaching one’s goals are built on a foundation of trust, understanding, and exploring our past, present, and future selves. She encourages those struggling to find a sense of direction, wanting to leave the cycle they’re in, or needing someone to listen without judgment to reach out and schedule with her today.
