About Richard Iden

Richard is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Virginia Commonwealth University in his clinical internship at Ellie Mental Health. He has experience working with diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, and older adults who have experienced crises and a range of mental health challenges. He has experience supporting individuals who use substances, strengthening their understanding of the complex factors that influence mental health and overall well-being.
He is passionate about promoting mental health and helping individuals access the support and resources they need to improve their quality of life. Richard is committed to enhancing clinical skills and providing inclusive, empathetic, and client-centered care that recognizes and honors each individual’s unique experiences, needs, and strengths.
