Sara is a mental health therapist with Ellie Mental Health Woodbridge who works with teenagers and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, high levels of stress, low self-esteem, family and relationship conflict, acculturation challenges, and other life difficulties.
Sara provides therapy for clients in Woodbridge, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities. She strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, expressing themselves openly, and exploring new possibilities.
Sara uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and mindfulness techniques. She tailors her approach to each client’s individual experiences and goals, helping them develop greater insight, recognize their strengths, and build practical skills for navigating life’s challenges.
Sara believes therapy is a journey of self-discovery and that asking for help when life becomes difficult is a sign of strength. She works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Sara earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University.
