About Emely Marchena Gonzalez
Emely is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at George Mason University. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she moved to the United States at the age of 15. From a young age, she has been passionate about supporting and advocating for individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges. Through her work supporting individuals in accessing community resources and her previous school-based practicum, she has gained experience working with older adults, adults, children, and families from diverse backgrounds. She is excited to continue developing her clinical skills while supporting clients on their mental health journeys. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her cat, Louis.
