About Lauren Heusser
Lauren Heusser’s career in mental health found her after her own positive experience with therapy. She spent three years in Hawaii working with adults experiencing severe mental illness and legal involvement before relocating to Jacksonville, where she obtained her Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential while working as a therapist in a crisis facility serving teens and their families.
Lauren is passionate about helping clients navigate life with greater balance and ease. She has experience working with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds and welcomes clients from all walks of life. Lauren believes in learning from each client to tailor treatment and create goals that feel attainable, all while providing a judgment-free space where difficult conversations feel less overwhelming. She believes fear is often nothing more than courage waiting to be discovered.
