Zoey Shelton is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who earned her Master of Social Work from Fort Hays State University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies from Kansas State University, where she graduated in 2024.
Zoey is passionate about working with clients across the lifespan and is dedicated to creating a safe, trusting, and empathetic environment where individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered. She is committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and helping clients achieve meaningful growth and well-being.
Her clinical interests include supporting women through various life transitions, particularly pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, motherhood, and other women’s mental health concerns. Zoey also has a special passion for working with military service members, veterans, and their families. Having grown up in a military family, she understands the unique challenges, transitions, and strengths that can accompany military life and is honored to support those who serve.
Zoey approaches therapy with compassion, authenticity, and a client-centered perspective, recognizing that each individual’s experiences and goals are unique. She strives to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building resilience, and developing the tools needed to thrive.
Outside of her professional work, Zoey enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and golden retrievers. In her free time, she loves reading, crocheting, spending time outdoors, and playing video games with her husband. Some of her favorite book series include Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and The Hunger Games.
