A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Theresa has over five years of experience working in diverse settings, including community-based counseling centers, in-home family support, school environments, and therapeutic office practices.
Theresa specializes in supporting children and teens (ages 10–18) with a wide range of needs, while also welcoming clients ages 10 and older from all backgrounds and diagnoses. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centered therapy. She is also exploring the integration of animal-assisted therapy into her practice.
