New to the team!
Life transitions, grief, caregiving, relationship challenges, and ongoing stress can leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next. Tanya creates a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where adults, older adults, caregivers, and families can feel heard, explore what they are experiencing, and develop practical ways to move forward.
Tanya has extensive experience helping people navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional adjustment, caregiver stress, aging-related concerns, dementia, chronic illness, family conflict, and end-of-life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She incorporates cognitive behavioral, supportive, grief-focused, and solution-focused techniques based on each client’s individual needs and goals.
Tanya earned her Master of Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Gerontology with a focus on dementia from Eastern Michigan University. In addition to her clinical work, she has years of experience supporting families and leading social workers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. She believes therapy should feel supportive, respectful, and useful—and that each person deserves care that recognizes their experiences, values, strengths, and capacity for growth.
