Choosing a therapist is a big step, and Stephanie Adams, MSW, is committed to making that step feel welcoming, grounded, and hopeful. Stephanie offers a warm, inclusive, and collaborative space where clients of all ages — children, teens, adults, and families — can feel understood and supported from the very first session.
Stephanie’s clients often describe her as steady, compassionate, and practical. She creates a space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, emotional regulation, or identity development, Stephanie helps you make sense of your experiences and build tools that actually work in everyday life.
Her sessions are structured but flexible, blending reflection with real‑world strategies. You’ll leave feeling heard — and with something meaningful to take with you.
Stephanie integrates CBT, DBT, Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy, Family Systems, and play‑based approaches, tailoring each session to your strengths, needs, and goals. Her work centers on clarity, empowerment, and skill‑building. She helps clients understand patterns, strengthen communication, and develop emotional resilience.
Her approach is especially supportive for clients who appreciate a therapist who is warm, direct, and collaborative.
Stephanie is a Veteran of the USAFR, holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and has completed post graduate work where her research and training focused on neurodiversity, developmental science, and the ways people learn, process emotions, and connect with others. This background allows her to translate complex psychological concepts into simple, accessible tools that fit real life.
She has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, including autistic clients, ADHDers, twice‑exceptional learners, and clients navigating executive functioning challenges. Her care is affirming, strengths‑based, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique way of thinking and being.
Stephanie is driven by a commitment to closing the gaps in mental health care — especially for clients who have felt misunderstood, dismissed, or unsupported in the past. She believes therapy should be a place where people feel seen as whole humans, not as problems to be solved.
She welcomes clients from all backgrounds, identities, and belief systems, including those who want to integrate faith or spirituality into their healing journey.
Stephanie’s mission is simple: to help every client feel supported, understood, and equipped to move toward a life that feels balanced, authentic, and hopeful.
