About Steffanie Barth
Steffanie is a Licensed Practicing Counselor who earned her B.S. and M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Robert Morris University. As a Pittsburgh native who has worked in a multitude of settings including school based, community mental health, private practice, and inpatient care with individuals ages 6 to 80, she understands that each person is unique and aims to meet people where they are at on their own life journey. Certified in women’s mental health and experience working with transitional age youth, Steffanie strives to empower clients and help them find a sense of control and purpose in their lives. She pulls from a multitude of modalities, including Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT to mold each session to what people need in that moment. Life can be messy, but she believes that the therapy room is a great place to untangle messes together, human to human.
