I provide a supportive, compassionate space to explore, understand and address distress and mental health disorders related to life transitions, strengthening relationships, regulating emotions, or developing greater self-compassion. Life transitions, stress, and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, especially when paired with anxiety, ADHD, or self-esteem challenges. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, drawing from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic and interpersonal work, motivational interviewing, and multicultural perspectives.
Clients often describe my style as warm, collaborative, and direct when needed. I strive to balance listening deeply with offering structure and guidance. I honor the interplay between personal identity, family values, and cultural background. I want therapy to feel like a safe, empowering place where you can explore, grow, and create change.
I collaborate to reframe your thoughts, instill hope, improve self awareness, have self-compassion, gain clarity, feel empowered and build resilience. I prioritize helping client honor and balance their personal identity, family values, cultural norms and cultural identities. I will follow where you lead and at times, I will lead and be more directive.
