About Sidney Mills
Sidney is a licensed mental health counselor associate providing individual therapy services to clients aged 12+. With a BA in Medical Sociology and Psychology from IUPUI and an MA in Counseling from the University of Indianapolis, which includes a specialization in Behavioral Health Trauma, Sidney is well-equipped to assist individuals and families experiencing transitional adjustments, traumatic experiences, chronic illness, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.
Sidney’s experience includes working in both residential and home-based settings with adolescents in foster care and adults with disabilities. Sidney has also worked closely with the Department of Child Services (DCS) in previous roles.
As a trauma-informed counselor trained in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), TFCBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CSAYC (Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician), and Motivational Interviewing, Sidney is dedicated to creating a respectful and safe therapeutic environment that supports clients on their healing journey.
