I believe that creative spaces – whether through conversation, music, or quiet reflection – can be powerful catalysts for healing, growth, and authenticity. My approach to therapy is rooted in feminist theory, social justice values, and a deep trust in the strengths and resources each person brings into the room. I often integrate a range of modalities to meet the unique needs of each person, drawing from eclectic therapeutic methods and a background in music therapy.
My work often centers around navigating grief, loss, life transitions, and identity exploration. I have experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, with a particular passion for working with parents – beginning with labor and birth, and continuing through the complex, evolving journey of caregiving.
As a Board-Certified Music Therapist since 2008 and now a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I welcome music and creative expression into the therapeutic process, though it’s never required. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and guided by your goals, strengths, and lived experience.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m most often enjoying the outdoors with my family, watching racing (on wheels!), or getting cozy with a book and a crochet project.
