Samantha Punt, CMHC, LPC, more commonly known as Sam, is a warm, passionate, and direct therapist who has earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Joseph University in CT and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Becker College in MA. Throughout her career, Samantha has worked with diverse populations and challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, autism spectrum disorders, dual diagnoses, self-harm, suicidality, physical disabilities, grief and loss, communication, LGBTQIA+, chronic health, life transitions, and numerous others. Sam enjoys assisting children, adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults (ages 7-65).
With two decades of experience across private practice, residential facilities, in-home services, and outpatient care, Sam brings a comprehensive, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and genuine approach to treatment. Her counseling style draws on several evidence-based approaches, tailored to each client’s needs and strengths. She believes successful therapy is built on a collaborative partnership and is committed to helping each client achieve meaningful growth, resilience, and lasting success.
