You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Life can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re navigating identity, relationships, family expectations, school, or simply trying to understand yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, uncertain, or just ready for growth, therapy can be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Ricardo provides culturally responsive, compassionate care in a safe and affirming environment. With four years of clinical experience he works primarily with adolescents and young adults, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, who are navigating personal, academic, and emotional challenges.
Ricardo’s approach is strengths-based and individualized—because no two stories are the same. He integrates various interventions such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and principles of Positive Psychology to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical tools for everyday life. Sessions may focus on managing anxiety, improving relationships, building confidence, or creating meaningful change—always at a pace that feels right for you.
His clinical work centers on serving Hispanic and Latino communities, adolescents, and young adults. Ricardo understands the unique mental health challenges and systemic barriers these communities may face and is deeply committed to providing culturally affirming, inclusive care where your background, identity, and lived experiences are honored.
Above all, Ricardo believes in your resilience—even if you’re still learning to see it yourself. His work is driven by a genuine commitment to helping clients not only navigate adversity, but truly thrive.
