Hey there, I’m Patrick (He/Him). I work with children and families, adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationships, traumatic experiences, and the many changes that come with growing and finding your place. My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in the belief that a persons unique experience is valuable. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest, exploring their challenges, and working toward meaningful change at a pace that feels personally right.
I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and families around the challenges of adolescence such as emotional and behavioral concerns, family dynamics, and difficult transitions. With younger clients, I use developmentally appropriate and play-based approaches to help make therapy feel natural, engaging, and importantly, fun.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Internal Family Systems-informed techniques. I also incorporate mindfulness and strengths-based work to help clients better understand their emotions, recognize patterns, and develop confidence using coping skills.
I hope to assist clients in adapting to their challenges while embracing those unique characteristics which make them who they are. Together, we can reach our goals sooner than we might alone.
