Olivia Porter is a Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to providing affirming, anti-racist, and culturally responsive care to clients of all backgrounds. She approaches therapy with warmth, authenticity, and a deep commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Believing that healing happens through relationships, Olivia strives to cultivate a therapeutic environment where trust and collaboration are at the center of the work.
Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, meeting clients where they are without judgment and walking alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges. She integrates evidence-based practices with genuine empathy, humor, and authenticity, making therapy approachable for those who are new to the process as well as those returning after previous experiences.
Olivia earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse. She has experience supporting young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and major life transitions. Olivia is particularly passionate about helping young adults build skills to manage emotions, adapt to new environments, strengthen relationships, and develop strategies that will serve them throughout adulthood.
Her clinical practice is grounded in the belief that every client’s story matters and that each individual has inherent strengths and resilience. By fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship, Olivia helps clients gain clarity, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
