Nicole is a compassionate Mental Health Counselor specializing in sport and performance psychology, supporting older teens and young adults as they navigate early‑adulthood transitions and the mental demands of competitive athletics.
She brings a steady, relatable presence that helps clients feel understood, supported, and capable of growth.
With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Felician University, Nicole has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group settings. She is skilled in treating self‑esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, career transitions, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Nicole also has a strong passion for working with current and former athletes, as well as student‑athletes balancing the demands of school, sport, and personal life. As a five‑year NCAA Division II collegiate athlete in multiple sports, she deeply understands performance pressure, identity shifts, injury‑related stress, and the mental resilience required in competitive environments. This lived experience allows her to connect with athletes in a way that feels authentic, informed, and empowering.
Her therapeutic style blends therapy and coaching, offering clients both emotional support and practical tools. Nicole uses an individualized, client‑centered approach and integrates a wide range of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), biofeedback, motivational coaching, mindfulness, resilience training, play therapy, and art therapy. She creates a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build confidence, and move toward meaningful change.
