About Michelle Viglianco-VanPelt

Throughout her career as a pediatrician, Dr. V has often been the first—and sometimes only—support for families navigating concerns about their child’s mental health. She understands how overwhelming it can feel when questions arise about focus, mood, behavior, or emotional regulation. As a mother herself, she is deeply committed to supporting children’s mental health as a foundation for healthy development, confidence, and overall well-being.

Dr. V partners with families to thoughtfully assess and diagnose concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She provides medication management when appropriate and collaborates closely with therapists (at Ellie and beyond!) and families. Referrals for therapy and psychoeducational testing are available as needed. Dr. V works with children and young adults from kindergarten through college, offering care that is compassionate, collaborative, and developmentally informed.
