Michelle has experience working in outpatient mental health, schools, private practice, and group settings. She supports clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions while helping them build confidence and self-understanding. She grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, spent 22 years living in the San Francisco Bay Area, and returned to Massachusetts five years ago. As part of an interracial family, Michelle brings a deep appreciation for cultural awareness, diversity, and the unique experiences that shape each person’s identity and relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and practicing conversational Portuguese as she works toward fluency. She is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
Michelle takes a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and family systems approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing and personal growth.
