My name is Megan, and I am an early-career therapist who is excited to continue learning and growing so I can provide the best care possible.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have the most experience working with young adults as they navigate anxiety, life changes, identity, and relationships.
It is especially important to me that I provide a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals where clients feel safe showing up as their authentic selves. I also enjoy working with individuals who are facing complex emotional and interpersonal challenges. I am excited to continue growing my skills in these areas.
Because I have experienced social anxiety myself, I know that growth is possible. I understand how overwhelming it is to feel like you are always on the outside looking in. That experience is part of the reason I chose this field and has given me a passion for helping others find their voice and feel more at ease being themselves.
I have experience using approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, but I am always striving to expand my expertise. I am eager to work with individuals from all backgrounds and expand my experience with a variety of concerns.
When I am not in the office, you will usually find me exploring new places and seeking out new adventures. I love music, the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, and my cats. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you wherever you are on your journey!
