Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Originally from Puerto Rico, he is a proud U.S. Army Veteran who has called Colorado home for the past 11 years. With over two years of experience in the mental health field, he is passionate about helping teens, young adults, and individuals of all ages find hope and healing.
Martin is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful approach for processing trauma. He also has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), supporting clients struggling with emotional regulation, interpersonal challenges, and self-destructive behaviors. In addition, he draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift negative thought patterns.
Clients appreciate Martin’s approachable, empathetic style and his ability to blend evidence-based practices with authentic, client-centered care. His goal is to equip clients with tools to better manage challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Martin is bilingual in English and Spanish.
