Marie is a mental health therapist who works with children ages 8+, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation concerns, behavioral challenges, family conflict, stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. Her clinical experience includes school-based and outpatient therapy as well as inpatient behavioral health, where she has supported individuals and families through a variety of emotional and mental health challenges.
Marie uses a person-centered and individualized approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation. She enjoys helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical coping skills and identifying strengths they can use in everyday life.
Marie is down-to-earth, supportive, accepting, and easy to talk to. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also receiving honest, realistic support. As a military spouse, she also brings a personal understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the challenges that can come with major life transitions and changing support systems.
Outside of work, Marie enjoys an active family life, sports, reading, spending time outdoors, crafting, and connecting with family and friends.
