Marianne Tan transitioned into the mental health field after a career in the animation industry, inspired by the transformative impact of her own therapy journey. She specializes in trauma therapy for adult individuals, helping clients heal from complex trauma (C-PTSD), attachment wounds, religious or spiritual abuse, anxiety, and identity concerns. For couples and families, she focuses on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and creating relationships rooted in safety, respect, and secure attachment. As a Phase Two Brainspotting clinician, she provides brain-based, trauma-informed therapy to help clients process and resolve experiences stored in the nervous system. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, attachment-based, and integrates Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), sand tray therapy, and mindfulness. She believes that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors make sense within the context of each person’s lived experiences and tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. Marianne is committed to creating an affirming, compassionate space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal, grow, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
