Hi, I’m Mariah! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes therapy can be both meaningful and comfortable. I bring insight, compassion, guidance, and plenty of good vibes into the therapy room while meeting you exactly where you are in your mental wellness journey.
With five years of clinical experience and a background in forensic psychology, I work with clients navigating trauma, crisis-related experiences, eating disorders, mood disorders, and other challenging life experiences. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can talk openly, better understand yourself, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes.
Therapy with me is personalized to you. I primarily incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, helping you recognize patterns, better understand your thoughts and emotions, build practical coping skills, and identify the strengths you already have. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on the goals that matter most to you.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University and my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am currently continuing my professional development as I work toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as yourself. Whether you’re working through difficult experiences, feeling overwhelmed, or simply ready for something in your life to change, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’d be honored to support you along the way.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with family and friends—although my new kitten, Quinn, gets most of my attention! I also love being in or near the water, traveling to new places, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.
