About Makenna Leach
Makenna is a clinical mental health counselor dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater self-awareness and meaningful growth. She believes that each person brings their own experiences and strengths to the therapeutic process, and she strives to create a space where clients feel understood and supported. Makenna’s clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. Through these experiences, she has supported clients and families through crisis, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Makenna utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while incorporating additional evidence-based approaches based on what best fits each client.
