I’ve always believed that many of the answers we’re searching for are already within us. Sometimes we just need a little help connecting the dots. I want you to feel genuinely heard and understood, but I’m also not the therapist who will simply smile and nod for an entire session. I’ll get curious with you, ask thoughtful questions, gently challenge old perspectives, and help you discover possibilities you might not have considered before.
My background in education, community mental health, somatic bodywork, hypnotherapy, and mind-body wellness has taught me that people are far too complex for a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether we’re exploring anxiety, depression, ADHD, childhood experiences, trauma, or relationship patterns that keep showing up, I’m interested in understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms.
I’m especially drawn to the connection between our emotional experiences and our physical well-being. For those navigating complex trauma, chronic pain, illness, or medical experiences that have left them feeling dismissed or misunderstood, I offer a space to explore how the mind and body influence one another. Depending on your needs, our work may incorporate cognitive behavioral strategies, parts work, mindfulness, somatic awareness, guided relaxation, or elements of hypnotherapy. Sometimes healing involves changing how we think. Other times, it’s about helping our nervous system feel safe enough to do things differently.
Children and teenagers also hold a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s my background in education or my naturally playful personality, but I’ve always enjoyed connecting with young people in ways that feel comfortable and genuine. Therapy doesn’t have to feel like another class, another lecture, or another place where you’re expected to have all the right answers. I enjoy bringing creativity, humor, and curiosity into sessions while helping kids and teens navigate big emotions, social pressures, confidence, and the challenges of growing up.
And because I believe the environment matters, I bring a little Zen into the therapy room. Think calming surroundings, a welcoming atmosphere, and even a cozy heated blanket if that’s your thing. We can take your healing seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
More than anything, I want you to leave our time together feeling that something clicked, whether it’s a new perspective, a practical tool, or simply a little more confidence in yourself.
Come as you are. We’ll connect the dots together.
