About Leah Elkin
Leah is a mental health therapist with Ellie Mental Health Manassas who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where clients can show up as their full, authentic selves. She believes effective therapy begins with understanding each person as a whole and honoring the unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and stories they bring with them.
Leah provides therapy for adults, teens and children in Manassas, Prince William County, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities, and virtual therapy for clients throughout Virginia. She works to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring what is happening in their lives, gaining a better understanding of themselves, and working toward meaningful personal growth.
Leah believes every client brings their own strengths to the therapy process. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she strives to meet clients where they are, understand what matters most to them, and build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, authenticity, and respect.
Leah earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University.
Outside of the therapy room, Leah enjoys reading, writing, working out, spending time in nature, and getting absorbed in a good Netflix binge.
