About Kevin Do-Nguyen
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who believes in the transformative power of storytelling and the importance of creating brave spaces where clients can explore their experiences and emotions openly.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and my Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. My experience includes working with adolescents and adults grappling with mental health challenges such as trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and anxiety.
I am deeply committed to helping clients learn healthy coping strategies, explore their values, and identify steps to living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I believe lifelong learning and growth are essential to providing adequate care, and my therapeutic approach centers on client empowerment and authenticity. My approach is also informed by evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
In my personal life, I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and playing racket sports!
