As a therapist, I believe that healing often begins when we learn to see ourselves differently. Just as I enjoy finding forgotten, discarded, or overlooked items and transforming them into something meaningful and beautiful, I approach therapy with the belief that people already possess many of the strengths, insights, and resources they need to heal. My role is not to “fix” people, but to help them recognize what is already there and learn how to use those strengths in new ways.
My practice is rooted in psychodynamic principles, with a focus on understanding patterns, relationships, and the unconscious influences that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore how past experiences continue to impact present-day challenges, identifying recurring themes and creating opportunities for greater self-awareness and lasting change.
I take an integrative and trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic interventions, psychoeducation, art therapy, and attachment-based perspectives. I believe that insight alone is not always enough; healing also requires practical tools, emotional regulation skills, and a deeper connection to the body and nervous system. Through psychoeducation and collaborative exploration, I help clients better understand their experiences while building on the skills and resilience they already possess.
Creativity is woven throughout my work. Whether through traditional talk therapy, art-based interventions, or simply finding new ways to view old problems, I strive to help clients discover possibilities they may not have recognized before. I believe that growth often comes from learning to see ourselves with greater compassion, understanding our patterns without shame, and recognizing that even our struggles can hold valuable information about who we are and what we need.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward greater wholeness by integrating the parts of themselves that have been neglected, hidden, or disconnected.
