KP has a passion for supporting women and individuals from marginalized communities in building emotional insight, strengthening relational patterns, and developing a more empowered and authentic sense of identity, confidence, and resilience.
She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and difficulties related to identity, relationships, and life transitions.
She is committed to providing a collaborative, affirming, and culturally responsive therapeutic space that centers safety, respect, and dignity. Her clinical work is grounded in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed framework that recognizes the impact of systemic inequities, generational trauma, and cultural identity on mental health and overall well-being. She strives to create a space where clients feel seen in their full lived experience and supported in reclaiming agency in their healing process.
Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, along with skills-based work focused on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and increased self-awareness. Interventions are tailored to each client’s unique cultural background, values, and lived experiences.
She has experience working with mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, personality disorders, and complex relational dynamics.
Her goal is to meet clients where they are and support them in making meaningful, sustainable changes that promote healing, self-determination, and overall well-being.
